How Waterloo candidates plan to support local post-secondary institutions
After participating in a panel discussion on CBC K-W's The Morning Edition, Waterloo candidates were asked if they believe enough is being done to support local post-secondary institutions and if not, how they would advocate for them. The three candidates who took part in the panel were incumbent Catherine Fife of the NDP, Shefaza Esmail of the Green Party and Liberal Clayton Moore. There are eight candidates in total in this riding. The other candidates are: Peter Turkington of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario who declined to participate in the panel, Suja Biber of the New Blue Party, Peter House of the Electoral Reform Party, Chris Martin of the Ontario Party, and James Shulz of the Ontario Libertarian Party.
