It's 'unrealistic' to get tariffs reversed at Washington meeting: LeBlanc
Canada has announced another $30 billion worth of tariffs on U.S. imports to come into effect tomorrow, following today's U.S. tariff on Canadian steel and aluminum. Finance Minister Dominic LeBlanc tells Power & Politics he'll be meeting Thursday with U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. LeBlanc says though it might be 'unrealistic' for all tariffs to be reversed, he hopes that the meeting will bring the two countries to a position where they can 'lower the temperature' on the trade war.
