After officially announcing he will run for the Liberal party in Edmonton Southeast, Mayor Amarjeet Sohi will take an unpaid leave of absence. Councillors will be on a rotating schedule to serve as deputy mayor during his run. As Travis McEwan reports, Sohi officially announced he will not run for another term as mayor should he lose in the federal election. Another councillor is thinking of joining the municipal race.
