The UN is scrambling aid to Southeast Asia after a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake killed more than a thousand people in Myanmar and at least nine people in neighbouring Thailand. A partially completed skyscraper collapsed in Bangkok, temporarily trapping dozens of workers.
