The Conservative Party of Canada has removed candidate Mark McKenzie from the upcoming federal election due to his past comments about his support for public hangings and jokingly suggesting that Justin Trudeau should receive the death penalty. McKenzie, a Windsor city councillor and former radio personality, was running in the southwestern Ontario riding of Windsor—Tecumseh—Lakeshore.
