More disappointment over B.C.’s carbon tax removal
The consumer carbon tax in B.C. ended after 17 years on April 1. Not long ago, the tax was broadly supported by both the provincial NDP and Green parties, as a way of putting a price on pollution. A former B.C. Green MLA and current lead negotiator for the Tsartlip First Nation says good climate policy should not come at the expense of being re-elected into office or winning campaigns.
