Dream come true for Mexican doctor who struggled to find a path back to medicine in Canada
After almost six years of working as director of care at a Prince Edward Island senior's home, Kristel Cavazos is finally getting the chance to go back to being a doctor. That's what she was in Mexico, before she relocated to Canada. Now she has been chosen to do a medical residency in P.E.I., taking the only such spot reserved for an international doctor.
