NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh was at the Lapu Lapu Day festival in Vancouver just minutes before a driver of an SUV drove into a crowd, killing at least nine people and injuring more than 20 others. Speaking to reporters later, Singh says the faces of the people he met, especially the children, were on his mind, and that he would be there to support the community as they mourn.
