Elections Canada validates close Ontario race; Liberals up to 169 seats | Hanomansing Tonight
Elections Canada's validation process has revealed a second closely contested riding's winner has changed after Monday's preliminary result. The unofficial results posted on election night showed that Conservative Parm Gill had won the redrawn riding of Milton East-Halton Hills South in Ontario by 298 votes. But after double-checking the numbers, Elections Canada now reports that Liberal Kristina Tesser Derksen won by 29 votes.
