Organizers said a record-breaking number of people turned out to run in the BMO Vancouver Marathon Sunday. It's the first major public event since the deadly car-ramming at the Lapu-Lapu festival last weekend. Despite heightened anxiety for some, marathoners said a large police presence provided a sense of safety.
