Canadian Red Cross conducting mock disaster response in Whitehorse
The Canadian Red Cross is holding a training exercise in Whitehorse on Thursday. Staff and volunteers will practise responding to a wildfire evacuation by opening a reception centre and a 120-bed shelter at the Canada Games Centre.
