B.C. appoints former chief justice to review festival safety measures
The province is taking steps to improve safety at festivals by hiring a new commissioner, following the Lapu-Lapu festival tragedy last month in Vancouver. Former chief justice Christopher Hinkson has been appointed to conduct a review that Premier Eby says will help guide event organizers across B.C.
