Don Davies, the newly appointed interim leader of the NDP, says the party won't be seeking a "quid pro quo" to back the Liberal government in exchange for the perks that come with being a recognized party. The party was reduced to seven seats, well short of the 12 needed to be a recognized party in the House of Commons.
