For a second time, Justice Maria Carroccia has discharged the jury at the sexual assault trial of five former Team Canada world junior players. This discharge was sparked over a note a juror sent Carroccia accusing one of the defence teams of making fun of several jurors' appearances each morning, which the lawyers denied. The trial will proceed before the judge alone.
