Video of Ward Al-Sheikh Khalil stumbling through rubble as she’s engulfed by flames circulated social media early Monday, after an Israeli strike hit a school shelter in Gaza City setting tents ablaze. Ward, her uncle and a paramedic all confirmed to CBC News that she is the girl in the footage. Her five siblings — between the ages of 18 and two — were killed in the strike along with their mother. Her father and her brother, meanwhile, are in critical condition in hospital.
