44% increase in U.S. undergraduate admissions, UBC provost says
As U.S. President Donald Trump cuts funding to many prominent U.S. universities, Canadian universities are seeing an uptick in American students wanting to come north. Gage Averill, the provost of the University of B.C., says the school has increased its admission of American students over last year, and that fewer Canadian students are heading to the U.S. for school.
