Closing arguments in the sexual assault trial of five former world junior hockey players are being presented in court on Monday. All five players have pleaded not guilty. Part of the evidence includes text messages between the accused as a group and also to the complainant. CBC News spoke to several lawyers who aren’t involved in the trial to see how the messages may or may not factor into the judge’s decision.
