Conservative MP says it's ‘great’ if Canada reaches NATO target but has questions about PM’s plan
Prime Minister Mark Carney announced on Monday that Canada will meet the two per cent NATO defence spending target by the end of this fiscal year. Conservative national defence critic James Bezan tells Power & Politics that Conservatives are supportive of Canada honouring its NATO commitment but want the government to table a budget to ‘see exactly how this is all going to play out.’
