$50M worth of cocaine seized by Peel Police in transnational investigation
Nine men from Ontario are facing 35 criminal charges after Peel police seized almost $50 million worth of cocaine they say was being trafficked from the U.S. into the Greater Toronto Area. In a separate investigation, the Ontario Provincial Police say they've dismantled a drug marketplace that operated on the dark web, seizing 27 kilograms of illegal drugs, thousands of dollars in cash and other items including a $400,000 Ferrari.
