The man behind ferrying West Coast Trail hikers
This year is Carl Edgar’s 50th season ferrying hikers across the Nitinat Narrows on the 75-kilometre West Coast Trail. He and his family run the famous Nitinat Crabshack, which has been a highlight for hungry hikers for many years.
