Patients and doctors alike have been speaking out about violent incidents and long wait times for patients in emergency rooms in British Columbia. B.C. Health Minister Josie Osborne said she recognizes how stressful this can be, adding that with an aging population, hospitals across the province are seeing more ER visits.
