It's official! Vancouver will rename Trutch street in Vancouver's Kitsilano neighbourhood. The 16-block will now be known as Musqueamview Street in English and shmuck-wi-um-awe-sum in hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓. It's a decision that chief of the Musqueam Indian Band Wayne Sparrow says is a big step in reconciliation.
