Some referees on P.E.I. are looking a bit different these days, for a serious reason
Thanks to an initiative from the P.E.I. Soccer Association, young refs are being given pink shirts and green whistles to stand out on the field. It signals to spectators that they are just kids, and fans shouldn't be too hard on them. Officials hope it also helps keep the young refs on the job longer. CBC’s Connor Lamont reports.
