Interior Health's plans to close lab in Trail leaves mayor and residents blindsided
Community members in Trail, B.C., say they are concerned about the upcoming closure of the city's medical lab, which means they'll have to go to another lab outside of the downtown area. Last week, Interior Health announced it will close the Trail Health Centre Laboratory in July and send the staff to the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital to help address staff shortages. As the CBC's Corey Bullock reports, community members say they were blindsided by the decision.
