Wood Islands Harbour to be dredged this summer, as concerns raised about ferries and fishing
Transport Canada says it will put the wheels in motion for Wood Islands Harbour to be dredged sometime after Aug. 1, after a tendering process. Low spring tides resulted in the cancelling of multiple ferry crossings from the southeastern P.E.I. port this week. However, the P.E.I. Fishermen's Association is concerned about how the dredging could affect the lobster population. CBC's Stacey Janzer reports.
