University of B.C. grad and women's hockey player Chanreet Bassi has made hockey history three times over: she's the first South Asian player to be chosen in the Professional Women's Hockey League draft, the first player selected from a Western Canadian university, and is tied for most regular season points in UBC Thunderbirds history.
