Giving new life to old clothes
Donating clothes often seems like the cleanest, greenest option. But the clothes that land in thrift stores often need a little TLC. And if they don't get purchased, they can still end up in the trash. That's why the U of A human ecology program partnered with MCC Thrift Edmonton for the treat and clean project. Sherry Galan is the general manager of MCC Thrift. Wing Sem Mak is a university research assistant with the project.
