Alberta has scrapped its limits on methane gas flaring, which is the process of burning off excess gas from oil production. The province flared 36 per cent over its limit last year. The Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment is advocating to reinstate the cap. Joe Vipond is a Calgary-based emergency physician and the association's former president.
