Ottawa man wants Tim Hortons to pay all Canadians mistakenly told they won a boat, not just Quebecers
Last year, Tim Hortons mistakenly emailed thousands of customers across the country saying they’d won a boat in the coffee chain's “Roll Up the Rim to Win” contest. A class-action lawsuit has been launched in Quebec, where consumer protection laws are stronger than in the rest of the country. But one Ottawa man wants the company to be accountable to all customers who received the error.
