Alberta is introducing new standards that will ban school library books containing what the government calls ‘explicit sexual content.’ Provincial Education Minister Demetrios Nicolaides says the rule starts Oct. 1, while ‘non-explicit sexual content’ may be accessed by students in Grade 10 and above.
