Wildfire books for youth
The past couple of wildfire seasons have been particularly devastating for many Canadians. Experts say climate change is making wildfires more intense and the seasons longer. It can be a stressful situation, including for kids and youth. A new program in the Yukon aims to alleviate some of that stress with information. Yukon Wildland Fire Management and Yukon Public Libraries worked together to create a collection of books on wildfires. Meghan Roberts spoke to Haley Ritchie about that collection.
