Community members set up command centre to support evacuees from Garden Hill
People are working around the clock to ensure thousands fleeing a wildfire on the north shore of Island Lake have a place to stay and needed supplies. As of Saturday Garden Hill First Nation Vice Chief said 2,700 people remained in the community.
