Typhoon Wipha whipped up strong winds and the local government released a citywide alert in Zhuhai, in China's southern Guangdong province, ahead of the typhoon making landfall on Sunday. Video posted to social media showed people battling intense gusts near the Zhuhai Opera House building, as well as the dramatic arrival of a massive dark cloud in the skies above the city.
