The city of Vancouver says its launching a new body-worn camera pilot to protect parking enforcement officers. The city says every two weeks an officer reports being physically assaulted, and there are daily reports of verbal abuse. It says the cameras have been used by other organizations in Canada to deter violence with positive results.
