Hockey Canada should show stronger leadership following sex assault trial, says professor
The five former players of Canada's 2018 junior hockey team who were charged with sexual assault have all been found not guilty. A woman known as E.M. accused the players of sexually assaulting her in a hotel room in 2018. Taylor McKee, a professor of sport management at Brock University, says the outcome is not a cause for celebration for Hockey Canada. He calls on the organization to reflect on its culture and implement higher standards when dealing with sexual assault cases.
