Wildfire south of Lytton, B.C., leads to evacuation alert
Five properties south of Lytton, B.C., are now under an evacuation alert because of a fast-moving wildfire that sparked Monday afternoon. The B.C. Wildfire Service says the blaze has grown to one-and-a-half square kilometres. B.C. wildfire crews and two helicopters have been dispatched to attack the flames on the west side of the Fraser River. There is no word yet on how it started, but it is believed to be human-caused.
