The death of a care-home patient in Abbotsford earlier this month is now being investigated as a homicide. Abbotsford police say the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken over the investigation. Police said at the time that two patients were transferred for medical emergencies that raised concerns due to their suspicious nature. One of the patients died a few days later. Police didn't give much more in terms of details but they did call this a "complex case."
