The 2025 Point-in-Time Homeless Count in Greater Vancouver shows homelessness is up nine per cent from 2023. Vancouver city councillor Lucy Malone is blaming Mayor Ken Sim for this year's increased numbers, saying his freeze on net new supportive housing has worsened the situation.
