Kurt Niquidet, president of the B.C. Lumber Trade Council, says negotiating a settlement with the United States needs to be 'front and centre' alongside additional supports. This comes after Prime Minister Mark Carney vowed to use Canadian lumber to build homes, and provide financial support to Canada's lumber industry.
