Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand said Prime Minister Mark Carney had an 'excellent' bilateral conversation with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum at the G7 summit in Kananaskis, Alta., in June. Anand said she and Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne are continuing to build on the momentum created by that conversation, while ensuring Canadians' interests are represented.
