The Kitchener Blues Festival is taking over downtown Kitchener this weekend. The four-day festival starts with a fundraising show on Thursday evening. The rest of the weekend, the festival will be free for all. Peter Beacock, the president of the Kitchener Blues Festival, spoke to CBC K-W's John Dalusong about what this year's festival looks like and a special event happening to recognize local musican Mel Brown.
