The Voice of the River tour tells stories of communities along the Grand River
If you travel 310 kilometers along the length of the Grand River you’ll meet hundreds of people and communities with a mosaic of stories to tell. A local group of artists is paying homage to that diversity and Indigenous history. They're performing in a community play spanning over several days. It started in the highlands of Dufferin County and will end at Port Maitland, next to Lake Erie. Peter Smith is the brains behind the project and Brett Miller is one of the Indigenous performers bringing Smith's vision to life.
