Celebrating 30 years of Degrassi Junior High with Pat Mastroianni and Stacie Mistysyn
Many Canadians grew up with two high school experiences: our own personal experience and then the one we lived out vicariously through episodes of Degrassi. Whether you caught the original series in the '80s or you saw a young Drake as Jimmy on The Next Generation, it's a Canadian franchise that has grown a following worldwide.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Degrassi Junior High and for its stars, Pat Mastroianni and Stacie Mistysyn (who played Joey Jeremiah and Caitlin Ryan), it also felt like they had two high school experiences. The one on-screen, of course, was life changing.
On today's show, Mastroianni and Mistysyn sit down with Tom Power, ahead of the show's big reunion at the upcoming Toronto Comic Con, to discuss the show's success, how it affected their lives and we even snuck in a little Degrassi quiz for them.
Follow along with the questions here and see how much you remember about Degrassi Junior High!
