Highlights from the 2019 Canadian Screen Awards

The big winners from last night were the CBC series Anne With an E and the CTV crime drama series Cardinal, which took home two awards each and tied for a total of seven trophies throughout the week.

Every week, the screen panel convenes to look at the biggest stories happening in the worlds of film, television and streaming entertainment. This week, filmmaker Charles Officer and film critic Kiva Reardon join host Tom Power to talk about the Canadian Screen Awards.

The big winners from last night were Anne With an E and the CTV crime drama series Cardinal, which took home two awards each and tied for a total of seven trophies throughout the week. Schitt's Creek won best comedy series and best supporting actress for Catherine O'Hara.
