Klassen, author and illustrator of I Want My Hat Back and This is Not My Hat, won the prestigious Caldecott Medal in 2013 and was one of five children's illustration finalists for the 2013 Governor General Literary Awards. The Winnipeg-born artist is known for his dry and sometimes dark sensibility, and his work on high profile projects like Lemony Snicket's The Dark and the animated version of Neil Gaiman's Coraline.
