"Moi is a feminist!"

That's how Miss Piggy reacted to receiving a prestigious feminism award earlier this year. But as the puppet celebrated her achievement, others shuddered at the degree to which pop culture now piggybacks on the political movement.

Among the critics: Andi Zeisler. The Bitch magazine co-founder recently penned a piece on feel-good feminism and its discontents. Today she joins Shad to talk about how feminism's pop-culture cachet may be hurting the movement, and why she's issuing her own mea culpa.
