For a lot of the world, 2016 was a rough, rough year and the world of arts and entertainment was no exception.

It started with the death of David Bowie last January and the hits just kept coming. With every week that passed, it felt like you couldn't log on to Facebook or Twitter without finding yet another celebrity obituary.

Guest host Laurie Brown speaks to Academy Award-winning art director and production designer Roger Christian about working with Carrie Fisher and Kenny Baker (who played beloved Star Wars character R2-D2) on the set of Star Wars, and how Leonard Cohen, George Michael and David Bowie's deaths have affected him.

"It was one of those years that we're very pleased to say goodbye to," Christian notes. "And we hope that 2017 will reward us with something better."
