When it comes to the needs of Syrian refugees, we're used to hearing about food, water, shelter and safety — but a burgeoning project in Berlin adds artistic expression to the list.

Ahmed Shah joins guest host Talia Schlanger to talk about Refugee Club Impulse, the theatre and performance art club he co-founded for refugees in Germany. A migrant himself, Ahmed argues that it's one thing to survive — but quite another to come back alive.
