Filmmaker Jeremy Xido joins guest host Tom Power to discuss his documentary  Death Metal Angola. The film follows orphanage owner Sonia Ferreira and her collaborator Wilker Flores as they try to launch the war-torn country's first ever rock festival. 

Xido explains how death metal took root in the country, what it has in common with traditional African music, and why so many believe the famously hardcore genre can help the nation heal after decades of bloodshed and war.
