Wrestling is just human drama, says Foxcatcher dir. Bennett Miller

Moneyball director takes on the bizarre true story of American millionaire John DuPont.
Bennett Miller has been on a great run. The filmmaker's first two fiction films, Capote and Moneyball, were nominated for Oscars and his newest feature, Foxcatcher, is already attracting critical praise. His movies don't tell stories so much as observe them, while straining to reveal obscured truths.

Miller's latest film looks at the bizarre true story of American millionaire John DuPont, played by a sombre and unnerving Steve Carell, as he tries to convince young wrestler Mark Schultz (Channing Tatum) to help him establish an elite new training site.

But wrestling's not the point, Miller tells guest host Tom Power. The ancient combat sport is "just human drama", he says. One person conquers, while one submits. One will prevails, while another is broken.
